A Healthy Message

Scripture states that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.  We only get one body.  We only live one life on earth.  We are called to be good stewards of our time and our talent. 

Scripture continues to teach that all things come from God and that Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega.

So much is being written about the care of our health these days.

Here in the U.S. statistics have demonstrated rampant obesity, the lack of wisdom about our health choices, children acquiring diseases that were thought to be only adult diseases a few decades ago, and sky rocketing medical bills.

Carol and I are in our late 50's now.  We have not been the poster children for perfect health during our adult life.  We have been blessed with relatively good health.  However, as we have aged, we have discovered some things don't feel the same or work the same or respond the same as they used to ... relating to our personal health.

Something changed.  About 15 months ago, we were at our Church on Sunday and there was a guest speaker.  He was talking about his new book  - The Richest Man who Ever Lived - a story of King Solomon.  Steven K. Scott was invited by our pastor to share how he came to write the book and the life lessons of applying Proverbs to his personal life.  It was inspiring and heart felt.  Steven was in Frisco that particular weekend for a business meeting.  He broke away to come to our church. In a serendipitous moment, he invited the church to attend his meeting in the evening.  About 80 of us attended. 

Two things happened at that meeting.  We learned, for the first time, about Glutathione and MaxGXL.  We also were participants and witnesses to a miracle of God in answered prayer and healing.

We all were there in a timely manner.  The room was small and there was standing room only.  The time came for Steven to address the group.  He seemed out of sorts. He wasn’t the same person we saw at church only hours before. Something was different.

Steven finally gained his composure and addressed us.  He apologized for his behavior and tardiness in getting the meeting started in a timely manner.  He had just received word that his son was being transported back from overseas under medical care and that he had contracted a form of advanced cancer that was ravaging his body. There appeared to be little hope for remedy or recovery.

What happened next …

Pastor Keith asked us all to gather around and lay hands on Steven and to pray.  Pastor led the prayer and we affirmed. He proclaimed and we would amen. He told Steven that his son would be fine and that complete healing was already in progress and in faith we stood in agreement and belief to give God the glory and to be a witness of many for one. 

The prayer was only about 5 or so minutes.  Steven was crying. Steven was moved.  He said he could feel the presence of God filled to overflowing in the room.  He sat down and so did we.  After a glass of water and a moment to compose himself, he asked if he could start the meeting and we encouraged him.

For the next 45 minutes, Steven described a breakthrough in medicine that he had been graciously given the opportunity to learn about, see and discover for himself that, in his words, would change millions of lives. Steven told us about Dr. Keller and MaxGXL.  He told us about Max International, his new company. He shared with us testimonials and facts and science and anecdotes abouut this breakthrough dietary supplement. It was evident that he was passionate about MaxGXL, the business opportunity and making a difference in life.

At the end of the meeting, nearly everyone, including us, that was in attendance signed up to be a part of this amazing story. We wanted to help others. We wanted to make a difference. We wanted our families to be healthier. This was the beginning.

Carol and I received our MaxGXL in the mail several days later and we began taking the product regularly.  We didn’t have our own story so we wanted to experience the product for ourselves.  We weren’t sick. We weren’t feeling particularly bad. We just didn’t know how MaxGXL would help us but were willing to “come and see”.

Our personal story of results so far will continue in a moment, but we need to finish the story about prayer and giving God the Glory.

Only 48 hours after the prayer in Frisco, Steven arrived home and his son had been admitted to the hospital with all of the test data and medical files that followed him. The documentation and multiple test results were grievous. But God …

Steven believed that prayer. Steven told his wife about the prayer. Steven told his son about the prayer. The next day, a series of more detailed tests would be given and preparation for surgery.  The tests came back.  The doctors were puzzled. More tests. More questioning. More tests. The doctors finally said to Steven that they could no longer even find the disease in his son’s body. It was gone. Praise the Lord.

Steven and his family are living testimonies to the power of fervent prayer. There are over 80 eye witnesses here in Texas that participated in that prayer and many doctors and nurses in the hospital where Steven and his family live who can give testimony to a miraculous event.  We serve an awesome God!

Today, we continue to use MaxGXL in our dietary life. We have more daily energy. We are able to have better and deeper sleep periods. Even some of the small “aging” problems we have recognized over the years seem to be less acute and annoying. There are no extraordinary stories we can share. We know that we feel better. We know that we have not had a flu or cold or any illness that took us off our feet for even a day since we started taking this amazing supplement.
